Generations First Contact Insurrection Nemesis

The greatest Trek-movie EVER!

My rating:

Plot:

It all begins in the 24th century with the new Enterprise -E, whos captain -
Jean-Luc Picard is ordered by Starfleet not to interfere in an ongoing battle between
a Borg cube and the Federation ships near Earth. Picard has to ignore his orders as he
is witness to the near defeat of the Federation forces.

After a short but fierce battle with the Borg, Picard and crew defeats the cube - only
to see a small vessel escape from it. The Enterprise follows the vessel into a
time distortion created by the Borg vessel..

They emerge in the year 2063 and the vessel begins to fire upon Earth, The Enterprise
quickly destroys it. Picard and crew later learn that the Borg is attempting to stop
Earth´s first contact with an alien race - the Vulcans will pass the solar system and
detect a Warp signature left by the ship Zefram Cochrane (the inventor of Warp drive)
is building.

On earth, the away-team try to secure the success of Cochran´s maiden voyage.
Meanwhile, in orbit, the Enterprise is slowly being assimilated.............................
